Rentokil appoint new North America boss after weaker trading > 자유게시판

Rentokil Initial has hired a new chief executive officer for its North American region, which has suffered from weaker performance this year.  

The Crawley-based pest control group appointment the boss of electrical supplier Rexel USA Brad Paulsen as chief executive of its North America region.

Rentokil warned in October that North American performance would miss annual forecasts after sales ticked just 2.2 per cent higher in the third quarter and the unit suffered lower orders for chemical products used in pest control.

The firm also revealed on Friday that it has appointed Will Lin as vice president of performance and digital marketing in North America. 

Andy Ransom, CEO of Rentokil Initial, said: '[Paulsen] has gained significant leadership experience from his years at Rexel, HD supply and home depot, across a mix of multi-site retail and route-based service organisations. 

'We have a significant opportunity for growth and value creation as we integrate Terminix in North America and [Paulsen] brings a proven track record of successful delivery.;

In October, Rentokil shares tumbled after the company warned its performance in North America would miss annual forecasts. 

It revealed organic turnover across the region, its largest market, increased by just 2.2 per cent in the third quarter, compared to 9.5 per cent growth in Europe. 

Trading was impacted by its US products wholesale distribution arm experiencing lower orders for chemical products used in pest control, as well as turf and ornamental end markets. 

Rentokil shares down 0.23 per cent to 427.70p in Friday morning trading.
